With Jasmine Babers (Editor)

It’s been an AMAZING 4 months! No, scratch that.. Its been an amazing YEAR. Its so crazy to think that this time last year, we were in the very beginning stages of the magazine. Over the past few weeks alone, the girls and I have had tons of new experiences. One was our super exciting college tour in Memphis. Most of the girls got to meet Dr. Jada for the first time EVER. She showed us around the town, and schooled us in how to go to college for free! (Yes, I just said Free.)Speaking of Memphis... don’t tell anybody, but in January 2013 they just might have a Love, GIRLS magazine of their own! Check out the potential Memphis editor Valencia Perkins, on page 3! There’s LOTS going on this issue. Kick up your feet, and take a look! I had the pleasure of meeting the inspiring Sarah Cronk, and the talented Rose Ripslinger. They are absolutely incredible people. Also, we wanna welcome our newest sponsor, Tilly’s! Their clothes are super cute! Check them out in North Park mall. Don’t miss our first Theater production, LESSONS IN LOVE at the Davenport Junior Theater, November 10th. It’s Free!! There is fantastic talent to help us celebrate the power of girls. This issue is our PROJECT PINK issue. It’s especially dedicated to Cancer Survivors. Please remind your mommy’s and auntie’s and other members of your family to get a screening early!! From the bottom of my Heart, I want to thank you for your continued support.
