The Love Awards is a community event that honors young women for their accomplishment and shares their stories. Every year we roll out the purple carpet for more than 400 attendees. The Love Awards has been hosted in Illinois, Iowa, Tennessee and Washington, DC on the campus of Howard University. It is one of the largest youth driven award ceremonies in the Quad Cities where it was founded. This purple carpet celebration also showcases up and coming talent who provide inspiring performances in tribute to honorees that include music, spoken word and dance. Celebrities in attendance have included, Yara Shahidi, Monique Coleman Imani Hakim and Jaclyn Betham.
